Frequently asked questions
Is the mattress included?
No. You add it on the product page, before the button: Sense Gel (pocket springs and gel foam, about 27 cm) or Maxi Confort (springs, firm and reversible, about 22 cm).
Does the bed base come with the bed?
No. The bed is the frame, with the upholstered headboard and sides. You add the base on the product page: Basic Bed Base, €75 in Queen and €104 in King.
Can I use the mattress I already have?
Yes, if it is 160 × 200 cm (Queen) or 180 × 200 cm (King). On the product page, choose «No mattress»; the base is chosen separately.
How much space does it take in the bedroom?
The Queen is 168 cm wide and the King 188 cm. From the wall to the foot of the bed, headboard included, both take 214 cm. The headboard is 1 m high.
Is there a discount if I take the bedside tables?
Yes. In “Build your bedroom”, at the bottom of the page: with 2 bedside tables, 5 %; with the bed base as well, 8 %; with the bed base and the mattress, 10 %. The discount shows in the cart.
What can I change on this piece?
The dimensions, finishes, fabric and configuration, within what our workshop can produce. Send your request through the customisation form: we reply with a quote, and production only starts once you approve it. Customised pieces are not covered by the 14-day return period. Request a made-to-measure version
Is assembly included in the delivery?
Yes. For furniture, delivery and assembly are free and carried out by our team on the day of delivery, in mainland Portugal. The Azores and Madeira are quoted separately.
How long does it take to arrive?
Each piece is made after you order it. The product page shows the production time and the estimated delivery dates, next to the buy button.
Can I return it?
Yes. You have 14 days from delivery to cancel the purchase without giving a reason, including the options chosen on the product page. Pieces customised beyond those options are not covered.
What warranty does it have?
A 3-year legal warranty. If you notice a defect, write to help@pistachodecor.com with a description and photos.
How do I know the piece will fit in my home?
The product page has the dimensions and scale drawings of each version. Measure the space and the way in: doors, stairs and lift. If in doubt, talk to us before ordering.
Can I talk to someone before deciding?
